(1) Remote monitoring using an Intelligent Plugin

The Visec Intelligent Plug-in is coded in C++ and was developed with the ability to manage, download and view large quantities of live and recorded video. This is critical today with the ubiquitous presence of large resolution megapixel cameras. The Visec Intelligent plugin was developed in C++ as opposed to other platforms used by competitors.

For example, while Java has some good benefits, it was not ideal for a plug-in where speed and efficiency are critical. Java is 10 - 20 times slower than a C based language. In addition, with JAVA, there is a lack of control over programming details, and it requires increased memory while placing an increased load on the CPU.This further increases needed resources and can cause it to be slower and more unstable than C++ .

The preferred method is C++ because it is faster, more reliable and an efficient way to code. The overall programming benefits of C++ outweigh any other options. Careful analysis of the Visec Plug-in will reveal that it is perhaps the most Intelligent Plugin in the world.

Remote monitoring using option #2, the Visec Browser Based method is a critical feature that was carefully architected. Essentially a client side plug-in or module would not be required to view live or recorded video. Most competitor products are severely limited and require users to download large plug-ins, that are prohibited on most corporate and public computers essentially barring the person from any form of remote access all together.

Yet, our brower based monitoring Option allows almost any Internet Browser to be used to access the remote monitor feature. Watching your home or office with the browser based option is like viewing a regular website and users will not be restricted by a firewall, router or proxy server. Thus, access from a company network like a hotel room, airport, public library, etc., will not be a problem and will permission will be allowed. It will be just like accessing a regular webpage.

Visec®VPRM Technology has revolutionized cell phones & Security Perhaps one of the most fascinating features of the VPRM Remote Monitoring technology is the ability for users to monitor their camera surveillance system using their cell phone. Most new cell phones come with a small color TFT Display Screen and are given away free or are reasonably priced to purchase.

Visec® VPRM Technology takes cell phones to a whole new level. The software development engineers at Philex were able to merge the Visec® VPRM technology into a computer readable format that can be understood by cell phone browsers that utilize the standard Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Markup Language, (WML).

This is a very limited language and required tedious dedication and coding modifications to be supported with Visec®VPRM Technology. Again, no plug-in is needed and Visec®VPRM technology will automatically detect the highest-level settings of the device the user is connecting from. Based on this detection, VISEC® VPRM Technology will send data in a computer readable format that is supported by that particular device. The result is live and recorded video from the camera's perimeters displayed on the cell phone anywhere you are in the world.
